Where to start....

Busiest summer ever!
We had fun, played hard,
became beck and call gardeners,
vacationed, relaxed,
chased, snuggled
and laughed the summer away!

We saw fireworks, rodeos,
cousins, friends from across the country,
grandmas, great uncles,
frogs, fish and parades.

Glad things are slowing down just a little.
these kids are growing faster than i like.
and time is flying.

Froggy Friend

Thanks to our friends the McKee's, Parkers life long ambition of owning a frog has come true. He has been trying to get me to take him frog hunting for quite some time and I would if I knew where to find the little guys BUT since we have this one I am safe.
Isn't that a face only a mother could love? He is kinda cute and I am not opposed to holding him either. He makes a chirping noise and has been a good little pet for the boys.
We are going to let him go so he can be free again soon- I don't want his demise on Parkers shoulders.
But for now we will enjoy our newest little friend.

Sadie's Summer Dance Recital

She did such an awesome job! They all did-
For those of you who know them, Maizie, Mollie and Quincy are in here too but the wigs make it hard to tell who is who. Watch for Sadie with the white exercise ball, Maizie with the skip-it, Mollie with the jump rope and Quin with the heeleys.
This dance was so creative and funny!
Sadie has won "Best Showmanship" two years in a row now because she is so crazy with her facial expressions. Where did she come up with all of those faces?!?

For those of you who need a great dance studio that doesn't get into competitions (THANK YOU NATASHA!) check out Limelight in Payson. They are great!

Spring Fun!

Late, i know but here's the scoop on our sPrInG BreAk!
Started off at Training Table... Yummy!
Then headed to the Kamas Pool!
You may think to yourself, yeah that is out of the way (even i was wary about driving an hour to swim) BUT let me just tell you how awesome this place is. It had a kids climbing area, waterslide and that super spongy bottom that doesn't tear up your kids piggies. We loved it and had to pry our kids out of there. The water was a perfect temperature even for mr. miles!
There was also a high dive (blast from the payson pool past) and miss sadie LOVED it!

it was taken at the smithsonian in dc
it was the ONLY place sadie wanted to go on the trip
she loved it

i love that she loves to learn
i love that she follows her heart
i love that she is so dang smart

someday it might not be cool to love to learn
someday i might have to fight her to do her homework
someday she might choose boys over books

i am not ready for someday
