Teej is 18 months old and this is his very first haircut. I know that seems a little long to wait but he has the cutest curls and I didn't want to lose them. It started out OK ....
I think that he realized that he wasn't having fun anymore.
Fun's gone and so is the love! What are you doing Nanny!?! I thought we were friends!
Goodbye Mullet! Goodbye curls! All is lost now....

That was so sad to hear teejers cry while nannie tortured him with his first haircut!! He looks darling with his new do!
So sad for Teej! Even sadder for you, having to cut the curls. I can't wait to see the new do!
oh sad day! I love teejers new cut!
Teejers! I miss the curls, but all is NOT lost...luckily hair grows, and to quote a very fine 5 year old, "all you need is sunshine and water!" haha... he's so cute!
He's so cute, even without the curls! Next time you're up here, I can introduce you to Cookie Cutters if you want (I wouldn't be surprised if they have something similar in SF). The suckers and video games for my oh-so-spoiled boy have cut down on the tears, the Nanny-betrayed-me crying, and the frustration for me.
That sounds like a bucket o fun. Sam still freaks when we get his hair cut. He needs to get over his Samson complex. Thinks he might lose all his strength if he lets the nice lady holding the clippers/scissors near him. Here's to hoping TJ gets through this stage quick!
Hi Jill! I just got on your blog and it is sooo beautiful. I love the pics of all your kids! Who took them!!
I need your email so I can invite you to mine.
Oh poor Teej! Maya does not like Nan's hair cutting services either!
I'll miss the curls, but I am sure he looks great.
